Amazing place for dinner of the beaten track but still very central. This restaurant offers a small local menu and everything is top top quality. Try the Bigoli with donkey ragu! Very friendly staff and very attentive. Nice wine list as well and again very local!! Definitely worth the visit!
The place to try the most traditional dishes from the Veronese cuisine. The food is great, lovely intimate atmosphere. Everyone is very kind, but the lady that seems to be the owner. It won't destroy your experience tho. Attention: they have a squatting toilet, avoid going to the bathroom if you can.
We had a perfect evening at this traditional Italian trattoria. The waitress was super friendly and attentive, was happy to let us practice our Italian, and she recommended some great wine with the pasta we ate. The cheese they used was simply wonderful, and we also shared a tiramisu which you can tell is home made. If you are in Verona, you must eat here!
AMAZING PLACE. The waitress is awesome, food is incredible, hidden gem. We had selection of cheeses, donkey ragú, horse stew and was great! Panacotta is a must
Our host recommended Trattoria Al Duomo and we were not disappointed. Delish traditional dishes, we had pasta with donkey ragout, saliscia and zuchini pasta, all in a very nice setting.
Service was excellent and everyone was very friendly. If you're ever in that neck of the woods of Verona I can only recommend a stop at Trattoria Al Duomo
This is a hidden gem, tucked away in the back streets of Verona, and full of locals (always a great sign in a tourist filled city). The staff were so friendly and helpful and made space for us even though they were busy when we arrived. They were terrific hosts all the way through and explained all of the dishes they had that day. The food is very seasonal, with incredibly tasty dishes and stunning wines to match. We loved the Pinot Grigio with our pasta and mozzarella dishes. The desert wines were a total highlight and complimented each of our deserts perfectly, just ask the staff what they would recommend, you won't be disappointed! The value for money was amazing too.
Fantastic food and atmosphere the staff is lovely full of recommendations and options for meals. We asked for one pasta to share as portions are big and they brought it split into two plates which was lovely. Everything tasted fantastic the big pasta portion is only 13€ deserts are all 6€ and taste amazing. Close to the centre lovely home atmosphere inside
I love this place! Whenever I am back in my hometown Verona, I go and eat here. Everything is good: the antipasti, the bigoli all'asino, the tartare, the very typical "pastissada de caval" (horse stew), the lovely fig and nuts cake, and the great selection of local wines.
Polite staff, authentic feeling, cozy ambiance, and honest prices. Absolutely recommended.
